HIGHERCOMBE HILLS, AUS – Initially ditching the cart and buggy because he felt completing a round in four hours was too quick, Carey Walken has found that his fitness levels have dramatically increased almost as much as the curve in his spine.
“It’s fantastic”, Carey told us on the 14th tee only five hours into his round ‘It’s like a workout AND I get to golf. My stamina is up, my weight is down, and I’ve got this nice tingly numbing feeling down my left arm’.
“Everyone else on the course is really encouraging too. Listen to all these groups behind me in the carts yelling what I assume are words of motivation. They’ve been at it for hours, thanks guys!” Carey continued
“‘Like I said, it’s been great for my health. My chiropractor keeps telling me to do it as often as I can. He recommended a staff bag with no less than 14 clubs, two pairs of shoes, three dozen balls and six big bottles of water for hydration, always carried on the same shoulder. He’s just bought himself a new Mercedes too, so you know he must be good at what he does”.
“Anyway, time to drive this one down the middle” Carey concluded.
Carey then proceeded to violently pull it at an almost 90 degree angle out of bounds because his body is now jammed in a position where his left ear permanently faces the sky.
